Criteria for participation:
Enrolment as PhD student at Graduate Schoole of Technical Sciences, Aarhus University.
Aim:
Introduction event for all newly enrolled PhD students at Technical Sciences, Aarhus University.
The Graduate School of Technical Sciences wishes to welcome all newly enrolled PhD students to the PhD programme by inviting them to an introductory day. The Introduction day is mandatory for all GSTS students.
The programme of the day features:
- An introduction to AUPA – Aarhus University PhD Association
- An introduction to the PhD administration and what we can help you with
- An introduction to the Graduate School and the PhD progamme
- Data management and FAIR data
- Good advice on being a career wise researcher
- A workshop on responsible conduct of research
In connection with the topic ‘responsible conduct of research’ participants will need to complete an online Epigeum Course before taking part in the Introduction Day. Participants will receive the programme of the introducation day and information on how to complete the online Epigeum course. Please set aside time to complete the online course (approximately 5-6 hours).
