Criteria for participation: Enrolment as or soon to be enrolled as PhD student at Natural Sciences, Aarhus University.
Aim: Introduction event for all newly enrolled PhD students at Natural Sciences, Aarhus University.
The Graduate School of Natural Sciences wishes to welcome all newly enrolled PhD students to the PhD programme by inviting them to an introductory day together with other PhD students enrolled in autumn 2022. The Introduction day is mandatory for all GSNS students
Head of PhD School David Lundbek Egholm will welcome and introduce the participants to the PhD school and the PhD study at the Graduate School of Natural Sciences. Thereafter, the participants will:
- Get a crash course in the PhD planner system
- Get an introduction to AUPA – Aarhus University PhD Association
The latter part of the program will be devoted to the theme “Peer Mentoring Groups” and will include:nn
- An introduction to the concept “Peer Mentoring Groups” and how to use them successfully
Participants will need to complete an online Epigeum Course before taking part in the Introduction Day. Participants will receive the program of the day and information on how to complete the online course two weeks before the Introduction Day takes place. Please set aside time to complete the online course (approximately 2 hours).
